Switch? ... Or ... Is a buffet of babbling better than a bag full of bent

This post I wanted to quickly get out that I’m thinking of changing my blog to a single theme.  I have noticed that the “big bloggers” seem to do this – they don’t skip around like I do.  Their blog has a single purpose.  But as you can see from my menu selection above, I have a hard time picking “just one thing”.

So dear lurkers/blogophiles, I ask you … should I switch to one topic?  If so, what is your favorite?  What keeps you coming back here from time to time?  I needs me some input.  Thanks!

I like being surprised with miscellaneous posts!

To me, your blog is about life. Yours, your family's, and the things you love or things you love not so much. :) It's an outlet for you to encourage, vent, discuss or just ramble. If you switch to one topic, I'd think you're gonna have to open about 5 new blogs to let us know what's happening in those other areas - lol. I think just having this multi-topic blog would be less work.

I like them all, but probably remember the humor posts the most. Like the balloon stalker...

@Shaddy: I am surprisingly miscellaneous for sure.

@Heather: You dear are probably right, as usual :)

@Jenn: Ah the old balloon stalker. Yeah he had it coming.

Well it looks like I'll be sticking with this random, fly by the seat of me shorts format after all, lol

I like the buffet...I like the humor, ramblings, and philosophical ponderings....

I often wonder if your have ever read Jan Karon's Mitford series? I ask, because for some reason I relate you to Father Tim. (only not as old...I think he is 60 when the series begins) If you like to read, and have the patience to get past the first part of the book, I think you would enjoy reading them.

@Cat: Nope I've never read that series. I love to read though. So I'll have to check that series out now. Thanks for the recommendation!

You are welcome. Let me know if you read them and how you like them. I think I am waiting to pick up the 7th one at the library. Maybe I should do that tomorrow.
